Beatrice Lopez Alvestad. Performance “Elementaarkehad”

‘Elemental Bodies’ is a performance ritual in water drawing on the notion of hydrofeminism and posthuman adaption. It is an experiential and meditative performance as immersion in water, on heated stones and near fire. A bodily immersion that emanate deep time and layers of experiential wisdom bringing about healing and strength. It was performed for the first time summer 2020 at KH Messen residency in Ålvik, Norway. Artist wants to perform it as a repetitive series in various beach areas in different sites and see what it adds in the process.
